Photo by @davidalanharvey | Arles, France. I just had a fast in and out trip to Les Rencontres d'Arles photo fest in this Provence town with so much history and artistic vibe attached to it. Heading home tomorrow after too much pastis last night. Nobody in their right mind would mix pastis with beer, which is exactly why I'm going home. I saw lots of great work and some amazing books. After Look3 and Arles back to back, I don't need any more photo fests for awhile yet seeing old friends and some classic works alongside young new talent is always a great way to feel the very real power of photography today.
