"When #Slash came by the studio at #Sundance, I was thrilled. I have long admired his talent and his iconic look. We were there making tintypes and I was hoping he would be up for participating because the look of a wet plate portrait would perfectly complement his rockstar style. Not only was he game to sit for a portrait, he also joined us in the darkroom to actually get his hands dirty and try the process. So you ask, 'Why was Slash at a Film Festival?'
