"The goal was to take photos of Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his new #NASCAR in a white studio so we could easily pull him from the background and drop him in new environments for various promotional purposes. This shoot took place at Dale’s own 'Hammerhead' studio in North Carolina, which serves as home for many NASCAR-themed shoots for numerous teams throughout the season. Dale is a cool, easy-going guy and was probably one of the easiest celebrities I've ever worked with. Despite the fact that we had professional handlers for the car on set, Dale didn’t hesitate to help us move the car around, wipe it down and adjust the suspension levels. Members of the Army National Guard were also on set for photos with Dale and he was great about joking around and laughing with the soldiers to help lighten the mood and keep them loose."
