#TBT to the biggest free throw of my career! @london2012 #Paralympics I found myself on the line with 20 seconds left in the USA vs China pool play game. Coach DK put me in with 30 seconds left and we were down by 3. I was immediately fouled on a lay up that I finished. I look up at the massively distracting score board directly behind our basket. There's 20 seconds on the clock and we are now down by 1... Gotta have it. Hands shaking, insides trembling. I had trained with the same free throw routine for 8 years up until and for this very moment: 3 bounces, backspin the ball in my hands as my fingers find the seams. Elbow in, breathe out. Follow through....Always follow through. Splash!
