The current issue of Science Magazine has just published a devastating report on the 'Collapse of the World's Largest Herbivores'. These include the hippopotamus, elephants, gorillas and rhinoceros among others. The significant statistic that stands out in this article is that between 1970 and 2005, large mammal populations in Africa’s PROTECTED areas decreased by about 59% . The article envisions dramatic declines in the near future.
Join me in September 2015 for my photo safari in the Tanzania Serengeti, where we will photograph elephants, hippos and rhinoceros in their native habitat. This unique adventure is slated for only 8 photographers.
