Hue was the seat of the last imperial dynasty, and it has long been known for impressive buildings that have endured weather, the brutality of modern armies and decades of rule by the Communist Party. But some are worried about its cultural heritage as freeways, high-rise towers and tourist resorts begin to pop up in the city of 340,000 people.
