While my time in the Khumbu Valley and on Mt. #Everest created profound experiences, it was the Nepalese people that left me with indelible memories. I’m deeply saddened by news of the earthquake that destroyed entire villages and communities and killed too many arcoss the #Himalaya. Climbers on Everest above the #khumba icefall (photo location) are reported to be stranded by the avalanche. For more updates and ways to help, check @mountainworld.
