A #refugee camp in the East African port city #Djibouti. #Refugees from #Yemen arrive almost daily in Djibouti, or farther north, where the distance across the water is shorter, around 20 miles. Many of the #refugees in the camps photographed by Tyler Hicks came from Aden, where the fiercest fighting in Yemen’s conflict is occurring. Despite the dangers faced at sea, many believe it is more terrifying to stay than to flee.
