Who is to stop him from photographing his friends inside the “bubble” of one of the world’s leading classical #ballet companies? Yet @daniil is more interested in capturing moments before and after the #performance — like this photo of @lucianavoltolini backstage during a performance of “Sleeping Beauty.” “For me it’s important to document this moment before it happens and the moment after it happens,” he said. “Because there are other photographers who are much more technically advanced and use the right cameras and all of that to document the dancer in flight.” #dance
