I have many quirky pre-performance rituals that when you read this, will make me sound like the weirdest person on earth. Well here it goes ? My good luck charm for performances is my pink macaroon onesie -- don't ask why, it just is ?. I will wear it all over the theatre no matter how weird I look. No matter what, I have to tie my right pointe shoe ribbons before my left. Again, I have no valid explanation for this. Before the curtain comes up, my friends and I go on stage and jump around in a circle singing the "Merde song". It gets pretty hilarious, but it takes away some of the stress of performing! ??
