'The Alcázar of Segovia is a cliff-edge castle that has looked out over this part of central Spain for nine centuries. Isabel and Ferdinand, the royals who commissioned Columbus’s American voyages, held court here, and you can visit their throne room and tour many of the other rooms of the castle as well. This shot was taken from some great trails that wind their way around the outskirts of the city.'
