#Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian: Infinite Possibility. Mirror Works and Drawings 1974–2014 opens today at the Guggenheim, presenting the first comprehensive U.S. exhibition of the Iranian artist. Her faceted mirror sculptures and corresponding geometric drawings reference Persian architectural and decorative tradition, the mathematical basis of geometric forms in Islamic pattern, and Sufi cosmology.
