Tomorrow night at 6 pm, join us for an evening with #Monir. Following a screening of Monir (2014), a documentary directed by Bahman Kiarostami and produced by Leyla Fakhr, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian is joined by artist #FrankStella and curator Suzanne Cotter for an intimate reflection on her practice, attitudes toward abstraction, and the artistic centers of Tehran and New York in the 1960s and 1970s. A private viewing of our new exhibition “Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian: Infinite Possibility. Mirror Works and Drawings 1974–2014” will conclude the program. Tickets at guggenheim.org/calendar
