10. Experience one of Ireland’s oldest and wildest festivals. Puck Fair, which has been celebrated for the last 401 years, is held annually on August 10, 11 and 12 in the small town of Killorglin, County Kerry. It starts with a wild goat being caught from the side of the mountain and made King of the town for three days. Pictured here are last year's goat catchers, Pat Cahill and John McGrath, along with the soon to be crowned King Puck. On the first day known as "Gathering Day" the Puck goat will be paraded into the #Killorglin town square, where he'll be crowned by Queen Puck, a local school girl. He'll then be hoisted up into his tall tower where he'll begin his 3 day reign over music, dance and merriment. On the final day of the festival, another parade will follow, along with fireworks, and the release of the Puck goat back into the Irish countryside.
