“The first time I met #G_Eazy was at SXSW in 2013 right after ‘Must Be Nice’ dropped. It was a big deal for me because I’d been listening to him before most people knew about him. Since then I’ve gotten to go to his shows every time he’s in New York. Last weekend he played two sold-out shows at Webster Hall. It’s crazy to see how G has evolved. Everything from his music to his style to his live production. The next day I linked up with him to shoot some portraits. We started the shoot on the roof, and wanted to move some of the patio furniture out of the way. G said, ‘Wait, leave that table.’ He immediately jumped on top of it, and went into this pose."
