Morning Buoy Update: The Northwest Hawaii Buoy (Buoy 01) started to rapidly build Tuesday night (HST) and has peaked as of early Wednesday morning with 20 feet of pure swell at 19 seconds. This buoy is located 275 miles northwest of Oahu’s North Shore and is an 8-10 hour indicator of swell at that swell direction and swell period. The swell looks right on schedule and the surf will peak for the North Shore this afternoon local Hawaiian time. -- @kwallissurfline #SurflineForecast
