Many people will tell you to take your money and invest it in something that will give you a high rate of return. Im here to tell you that the best investment you can make is in people. Martin Luther King Jr. Invested in all of our lives and yet he knew none of us. He believed that know matter where you came from you deserved an equal shot at life. What an amazing person he was to fight for not just himself but for every person in America to get equal rights. See, as we celebrate him and black history month just know that Dr. King didn't just fight for the equality of black people but for the equality of every person. Black history is American history. Dr. King invested in my children by refusing to accept ignorance and hatred. Do you invest in your community or in a world that will exist after you are gone. A man has to be willing to plant a tree whose shade he will never sit under. Martin Luther King planted a forest. #MLK
