Super Typhoon #Hagupit is nearing the Philippines with maximum sustained winds of 130 knots and gusts up to 160 knots. Our forecast team noticed that recent satellite observed wave heights near the core of the storm were in the range of 70ft +. While this would be incredible, we’re not sure if we trust those numbers just yet. Either way, this is a powerful and very dangerous storm ­­ and our thoughts and prayers are with those in its path.
