After the first round of milking is done, it's not uncommon for boys to take a snack straight from the source. When I was photographing this story for @ナショナルジオグラフィック I had an opportunity to spend an hour with the Salva Kiir, the president of the country, who reminisced about his youth in cattle camps when he did exactly the same thing. The #Dinka have an intimacy and dependence on their cattle that is difficult for outsiders to understand, but certainly they are thankful for the giving!
