Musi @vincentjmusi had to say about the photo: "Moment, Design, Grace, Light, Color and Balance all come together in this winning photograph of a flying fish. I don't think I've ever seen one this beautifully done, congratulations. It's also somewhat of a quiet picture, a quality that I'm often drawn to and wish I had more of in my own work. It isn't just the monochromatic palette but the quality of light that provides such wonderful depth. A great many of the photographs that competed had 2 or 3 or 4 of these qualities and just shades of difference separated them from the winners.
