There is a moment i experience before every lift when attempting a PR...that "do you want to be a weightlifter or do you want to be somebody else?" thought comes into my head every single time. I make that choice every day to be a weightlifter after that moment where time stands still and everything goes quiet in my mind and i place my hands on the bar.
