@Flavorgod Veggie Roll with a #FlavorGod Cilantro Lime Rice Some of you have been asking me for vegetarian recipes with my seasonings. This is a veggie roll that I made up last week. I know sushi can be intimidating but this was delicious and worth the time it took to make it! A lot of sushi restaurants flavor their rice with Sugar and Vinegar to give the rice flavor. I'm not a fan of sugar or vinegar, so I chose to do a Cilantro Lime Rice instead that is PACKED with flavor! INGREDIENTS: ●1/4 - avocado (sliced into 1/4-inch thick pieces) ●1 sheets- nori (edible seaweed) ●About 1/2 cup - cilantro lime rice (recipe below) ●1/4 small cucumber, cut into matchstick size pieces ●1/4 small carrot, cut into matchstick size pieces ●1 tablespoon - @FlavorGod seasoning (for the rice) ●1 - asparagus **optional (blanched) DIRECTIONS: 1. Cover a bamboo rolling mat with plastic wrap or ziplock bag 2. Cut nori sheets in half. Lay 1 sheet of nori, on the plastic covered mat. 3. Wet your fingers with water and spread 1/2 cup of the cilantro rice evenly onto the nori. 4. Turn the sheet of nori over so that the rice side is down. 5. Place cucumber, avocado asparagus, carrot, in the center of the sheet. Grab the edge of the mat closest to you, keeping the fillings in place with your fingers, and roll it into a tight cylinder, using the mat to shape the roll. 6. Cut roll into 6 pieces. Serve with your favorite sauce and pickled ginger. DIRECTIONS: 1. Combine all the above ingredients into a big bowl and toss together till blended well. Note: I like to make my cilantro rice right when the rice is done cooking. While it's still warm!
