A group of bikers stop at the Bovey Visitor Center in Virginia City, Montana, a wonderfully preserved Victorian Era mining town from 1863, the height of the gold rush in the region. Virginia City is just a convenient stop off for bikers heading to the mammoth Sturgis Festival in North Dakota from Idaho and Washington State. Montana itself counts some of the best motorcycle roads in the nation, including Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park and the Beartooth Highway stretching between Red Lodge and Cooke City, Montana, running through Yellowstone National Park.
