Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of llamas. Our tour leader, PatrickTabor from #swanmountain outfitters accompanies the llamas in the water in Glacier National Park. These beautiful, eccentric creatures have exceptional eyesight which, allied with their periscope-like necks, makes them ideal security guards. Strong and gentle, quiet and agile, llamas are the perfect companion for a pack trip. With their padded foot, cleanliness, calm nature and ability to browse on a variety of vegetation, llamas have no more impact in the high country than a deer.
