National Geographic Travelのインスタグラム(natgeotravel) - 7月2日 00時04分

Glacier National Park is one of my favorite national parks. Its pure, natural beauty is hard to comprehend sometimes. I shot this on the shores of Lake Macdonald on the western side of the park on a cool, calm, overcast spring afternoon. The lake was still, and the rocks below the surface were crystal clear to see. I remember taking a really deep breath of fresh mountain air while I was composing the shot, and feeling so good...so energized by the nature right in front of me. That's one reason why I am a passionate photographer: because each time I look back on my photos I am immediately transported back in time to that same place and feeling.
