Cape Horn is the southernmost part of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in southern #Chile, and marks the northernmost point of the famed Drake Passage. The waters here are treacherous, and being able to make landfall on Hornos Island is a crapshoot. But if you are lucky enough to get on to the island, you'll find this wooden walkway that leads to a metal sculpture #silhouette of an albatross. The sculpture is in honor of the many sailors that have lost their lives trying to round the treacherous waters of the Horn. It's a beautiful little island, but it definitely feels like the end of the world. If the earth were flat, this is where the dropoff would occur. Photo by @magnumji
