False Kiva is a human made stone circle in a cave with an incredible view in a remote part of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. A "kiva" is a location used for religious purposes, but the origins for this kiva are unknown (hence, the name). The hike down to the cave is steep, and you won't find it on any maps. But it is an incredible place, and has become a bit of a pilgrimage for photographers. Can you imagine living here and waking up each day to this view?? If you go, take plenty of water and food, a wide angle lens, and be sure to let someone know where you are going. Oh, and be ready to be amazed. Photo by @magnumji
