I’m getting adventurous and spicing up my green smoothie. Cayenne pepper is a great way to do this in veggie-based smoothies, which I am addicted to lately. Cayenne pepper also boosts your metabolism, immune system and helps with digestion — pretty awesome, huh?
VEGGIE MEDLEY GREEN SMOOTHIE | Serves Two
2 cups spinach
1 cup vegetable broth (add more water if needed)
4 celery stalks
2 large carrots
5-10 cherry tomatoes
1 clove garlic
1-2 green onions
Salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
