The Therapeutic Skating Program in Great Neck, NY was recognized by the Town of North Hempstead last night. Proud to be the Director at Large for a program that is making skating more accessible to kids of all abilities. The program has grown every year and is 1 of only 3 nationally recognized programs. Hope to see more schools be able to incorporate programs like this in their curriculum. The kids love it. Thank you to Supervisor Judi Bosworth and her colleagues for their support and recognition of this program - look forward to seeing it grow and expand to other towns so more kids can enjoy the benefits of sports like skating.
