Loving this sunset and your comments on my last caption. I was on my bicycle earlier today, lost in the sort of thoughts that go best with rhythmic pedaling, and I felt suddenly and with the most heart-dazzling clarity the richness of each of our stories: the elderly man who jogged by with more vigor than me; the two boys in cowboy hats, deep in discussion over what appeared to be a single white lawn chair; the woman with two dogs, one on a tight leash and the other running free; the man with the walker who glanced my way and then shuffled boldly into the road. I knew I'd never know more about them, but I knew in that moment that their lives were woven as intricately as mine--deliberately and daily, with their own two hands.
