The Sherpa Fund Print Sale has been an incredible success so far with a groundswell of people joining in and supporting. A heartfelt thank you to everyone. Today is the second to last day to buy a print. Thank you all again for the love and support for our Sherpa friends. ------------------------------------ About the Fund: We are ten photographers who have worked extensively with the Sherpa people and felt devastated by this tragedy. For us, this is a moment to ask how we can help our Sherpa friends, peers, climbing partners, both in this time of crisis and in the years to come. As a first step, we are donating the prints you will see on the site, a selection of our photographs of the Himalayan region and its people, curated by our editors, @ナショナルジオグラフィック’s @squarrier and @outsidemagazine’s Amy Silverman. One-hundred percent of proceeds from this sale (after the cost of printing) will go to the Sherpa community via the nonprofit Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation, which has been working with Sherpa climbers in the Khumbu since 2003.
