I forgot a cardinal rule of photography yesterday, #patience. The light was bad all evening so after making a few mediocre frames at best, I decided to pack it in and head back to the house. I dropped my camera bag in the chair, grabbed a beer and sat down to watch tv. 15 minute later my wife pointed to the beautiful pink light filtering through the blinds, which immediately caused me to mutter an expletive, grab my camera bag and start running down the street toward the river like a madman.
