The #Kootenai Falls, just outside of Libby, Montana, is one of the largest free-flowing (un-dammed) #waterfalls in the Northwest. It is also a sacred place to the Kootenai Indians, who used to fish for trout and sturgeon (among other fishes) in the waters of the Kootenai River. Down the river from the falls is a "Swinging Bridge', and let me tell you, yes indeed it does swing when you walk across it. #inmontana #onassignment #wherethelocalsgo photo by @magnumji
