☀️Q:What is posture? ?

Posture is a very broad term but essentially your "standing" posture is the relaxed, standing position of your body. (Before you deliberately lift your head, or raise your chest or pull your shoulders back or poke your bum out) ☀️Q:Why is posture import? ? ?Having a poor posture or an "unnatural" stance, can potentially cause many acute and chronic injuries. This comes through structural changes in your anatomy, "your muscles move your bones". When one or multiple muscles are permanently lengthened or shortened this can change your resting stance and therefore your posture. ?If the ratio of tension, strength or length In a group of muscles is significantly different from another, this can also result in poor movement function and LESS RESULTS from training due a decrease or lack in motor recruitment. ?Basically....if your posture isn't good, your muscles won't work as well. In turn, your results from training can be decreased...significantly. ?Working on your posture?

I DO NOT only do plyo training. I use plyometrics and high intensity circuits as a way to promote accelerated fat loss and muscle conditioning with myself and clients. ?Functionally is SO SO SO important!
