While sea kayaking the coast of Graham Land, #Antarctica we were often accompanied by jumping Gentoo penguins who attempt to confuse predators by occasionally leaping from the water. Due to vanishing sea #ice in the region, we saw many colonies of Gentoos and less Adelie penguins than is normally observed.
