Shinjuku Night: A staff of a “host club”, which provides male companions to women, is checking his smart-phone. The attached words at the wall behind him means “Expel Gang-stars, or Yakuza (Japanese mafia)!” and “Let’s make the community happy!.” Hosts are often lower members of Yakuza, or related to such organizations. Yet, Kabuki-cho is much safer, compared to New York’s Times Square area in the 1990s.
