A woman looking onto my photographs of the Liberian War at photoville. The work is part of “Liberia: Remembering” that is created by the work of nine photographers who were in Monronvia at the end of the civil war in the summer of 2003. Of those, three have died covering other conflicts, including Chris Hondros, Tim Hetherington, and Martin Adler. The summer and the deaths of the three are still haunted to me..
