I just read this cool piece online about a project called @the_farmery... Want to grow your own food but don't have the knowledge/space/time? After being unsuccessful in farming, Ben Greene imagined a 'stop, shop, and grow' retail business utilizing shipping containers as hydroponic/aquaponic greenhouses. He's now spent 5 years making it a reality. With this system, no food is lost in the interim between production and retail due to transportation and storage as the consumer becomes the harvester in the store, saving money and simplifying infrastructure. It's also a no-brainer for educating people and giving them pride in their food and local communities. #IWantOne in #CocoaBeach. Support this guy's movement.
