#ChrisMalloy and I at the Hill's House in Hawaii in about '87-88. Full Grom status. Chris and I got introduced thru Scott Thomas who was the @cisurfboards team manager back then and originally worked in the first surf shop that first sponsored @robstercraw and I in Florida...Shagg's Surf n Sport in Indialantic, Florida. Dick Catri owned the shop and was our first surf coach. Excuse the lineage tangent. Scott introduced me to #AlMerrick and got me on the team. Nowadays Chris is working for Patagonia and makes films and commercials on the side. He and his brothers, Keith (@thetorpedopeople) and Dan, are amazing surfers and watermen and overall great people.
