From @noriecicerone On eagle's wings: Wildlife rehabilitator and falconer Martin Tyner and golden Eagle Scout at Parowan Gap, Utah. His advice to drivers if they come upon a raptor feeding on road kill is to slow down and honk. Don't assume it will get out of the way in time; many raptors are killed this way. During certain times of the year, he releases Scout to fly and hunt jackrabbit with other wild golden eagles, which frequent this area. When Tyner blows his whistle, the bird returns. Tyner gives presentations to kids, saying, "If I can get a child this close to an eagle, that child will never hurt an eagle."
