Photo by @irablockphoto (Ira Block) A Red Tail Hawk and her fledgling at their nest on a fire escape on the Upper West Side of New York City. The mother was not happy about having her photo taken, so I had to use a small camera slipped through the window. A few moments later the father appeared out of nowhere and lightly smashed into the window to scare me off. And he did!
