Inside a Cairo taxi cab, my preferred mode of transport in the capital. I genuinely enjoy talking with the drivers about the situation in the country. Most of Cairo's taxi drivers are with some degree, if not high degrees, but sweeping unemployment and a culture of "Wasta" (relying on personal connections to get anything done) has left many with little chances of financial survival but to take on odd jobs or drive a taxi.
