It’s difficult working really hard for a specific goal and having your body at it’s peak and then going and DESTROYING it after, which I feel like I’ve done. I mean, my body could be better than it was for my competition. Which is of course my goal for next comp: to beat myself this round. However, I feel so set back right now, from and eating like SHIT for the past few weeks. I’m by no means overweight, but I miss seeing abs in the morning and having something to take pictures of—is that sad?? Ha. It’s just very depressing and kind of gets me down in the dumps. So, my recommendation if you do a competition: don’t overdo it afterwards. I KNEW this, and I did it anyway, with reckless abandon as to what I KNEW was good for my body and mind. I should not have kept up a ‘competition’ diet, but the food I ate was…well, disgusting to be honest. Between donuts and pizza and nachos—the things I consumed day after day in a row with no care at all for how shitty it made me feel: things got bad. I’m ready to get back on it. I keep saying that, but after looking at myself every morning and looking at how quickly your body goes from almost perfection to filth so quickly—it’s sad! 3 weeks of shitty eating can do serious damage to that healthy body. And 3 weeks of clean eating would probably bring me back to speed, more or less. So here goes it. I’ll post a picture of my meals today and try to keep it up—for the sake of my sanity and self-confidence. xxx
