I say: I acknowledge that when I was on my phone when you were sharing something imported could make you feel unseen and ignored and that was not my intention. I commit to putting my phone down next time you’re sharing something with me. If Jacob is away on a trip, it often means I need manage a lot more for both of us which makes me a little exhausted. if he said that he’s sorry I don’t think it would mean as much as when he said: I acknowledge that when I’m away, you have to deal with everything on your own on top of work.
