The 17th November wasn't only the day of my graduation, but the day of my bestie's birthday.. My little sister 👨🏽‍🎓🎁

We have a personal joke that her graduation was hijacked by me turning up and (in her words) taking centre stage. And then now, her precious birthday has ended up being hijacked with my graduation both of which at @covuni 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

But the truth is, the only thing that has been hyjacked is my life with love and blessings since she was born. My little sister has always been the big heart behind the scenes, a selfless person that always puts others before herself.

A moment in time that hurts me that I have to mention is also a moment which warms my heart beyond comprehension - My little sister at 23 years old stopped work to move in with me and Safiyya to help take care of us and Azaylia during her end of life care. I can't imagine how this time must've been for her, or the toll that it has taken.. I can only appreciate and be whole heartedly grateful for her being there and being herself - a warm, light and selfless individual who loves her family and especially her little niece more than anything.

I know life as my little sister can't have been easy, for different reasons in the past to what they have been of recent.. But I can tell you as your big brother, even though tough, I couldn't or wouldn't wish for anyone else to be in those shoes and I don't just try to be better everyday because my beautiful daughters watching, or for these incredible children fighting, it's also because I know you are following, believing and supporting and that means a whole lot to me.

For the 17th November, happy belated birthday caino.. I love you and Azaylia does too 👼🏼🦁🧡🫶🏽
