I am honoured to be a part of the new exhibit “Our Journey Continues” showcasing the lives of seven individuals who lived through the Chinese Exclusion Act period (1923-1947) and six of their descendants. Two of my great great grandfathers, Yip Sang and Won Alexander Cumyow, were pillars of the Chinese community in Vancouver who fought for rights of Chinese people.
