I love her respectful homage to traditional Japanese style and culture. 🙇🏼‍♀️ Here, I visited the Byōdō-in temple in Uji. It was built in 998 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Byōdō-in was originally dedicated to the Buddhist bodhisattva Amida (aka Amitabha), who welcomed all comers to Paradise no matter what their branch of Buddhism.
