These third graders worked together to help raise $300 for the @SFLRedCross to help people affected by disasters. 🥹 While learning about banyan trees in school, they were heartbroken to hear about the oldest one being destroyed in the Maui wildfires. So, they launched a ReThink Pledge at school and had students sign their names on reused plastic bottle caps to raise awareness of their daily use. They also made and sold buttons, wooden ornaments and stickers to raise the funds to support our mission. As a thank you, they received Red Cross pins and coupons to enjoy a free doughnut.
