All the things we didn't know then that we do know now. Some things have gotten easier; others harder. But there are many things that have not changed. I still wake up before the sun rises on most days, and I walk the silent city block towards the Bakery. I will still open the door to our guests on many days. We still have one of the hardest working teams in town, and I'm grateful for everyone who has given us their time and energy. I genuinely feel delight every moment I see our guests smile over our treats. And yes, I continue to read every review and work earnestly to improve. I still have a list of ideas to test someday.
