Northern Italy has risotto, and Valencia, Spain's paella is famous. If you think about it, Singapore chicken rice is the same, there is yongyanpa in Korea, and bo chai fan (煲仔飯) in Canton and Hong Kong in China. And in Japan, there are unnameable 8 million (this is yao yorozu in Japanese, meaning "a great many") recipes for each season, each region, or each household. So today I made rice with chicken, burdock, ginger, and dried shiitake mushrooms cooked in soy sauce flavor. Then I made "onigiri" (rice balls).
